COACHES REGISTRATION AND CERTIFICATION
Thank you for your interest in coaching with our club. We ask that all of our coaches complete the following steps to become a registered volunteer coach.
STEP 1:
To apply to be a coach, please complete the Coaches Application
STEP 2:
You will receive an Volunteer Letter from our club that you can use to apply for an RNC Criminal Records Screening Certificate and Vulnerable Sector Check. Using this letter will waive the fees associated with these checks.

STEP 3:
Sign up for an NCCP Coaching # at https://thelocker.coach.ca/account/login?ReturnUrl=%2f
The Coach's Locker is an excellent resource for free online training. The NCCP also retains information on coaching courses you have completed.
STEP 4:
Register with our club as a coach

*Please include your NCCP # so we can receive regular updates on your training.
STEP 5:
Read and sign our Coaches and Managers Code of Conduct (Coaches & Managers Code of Conduct) and our Concussion Code of Conduct (Concussion Code of Conduct).

STEP 6:
We ask that all our coaches complete Respect in Sport for Activity Leaders:

*We reimburse for the full cost of this course.
Note: This course is valid for 5 years. If you've completed this course through another sport association you do not need to repeat the course if still valid, simply provide your certificate number for our records.

We ask that all our coaches complete Safe Sport:

*Please note that for the above courses coaches need to be registered with the locker. Coaches will need an NCCP #.
